What supplies will someone need for a camping trip in the Inyo National Forest area?

It depends on where you plan on going, are you going to drive right up to your camp, or are you going to hike in?
you will most likely need a tent, a stove, a lantrn, depending on where you will be, you may need a bear can, and maybe even some bear spray.
You’ll need marshmellows!
I would make an inventory of what you have, and then make a list of the things you use everyday, and see what you cannot live/cook with out.
Also, be sure you take a look at the inyo national forest website, http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/inyo/index.shtml for any regulations and if you need any permits of any kind.

Supplies and camping gear needed for a particular trip remains fairly constant, except for special purpose gear for particular activities.
You did not specify if you are backpacking or car camping, the supplies differ significantly for these two trips.
