Will Obama down play this Terror suspect may be headed to Texas through Mexico?

Houston police and Harris County Sheriff’s deputies to keep their eyes open for a potential terrorist.

The alert focuses on Mohamed Ali, a suspected member of the terrorist group Al Shabaab. It indicates he may be traveling to the U.S. through Mexico.

Al Shabaab is a terrorist group based in Somalia with links to the Somali attacks dramatized in the movie “Blackhawk Down.” A few months ago, the group announced its allegiance to Al Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden.

“[Al Shabaab operatives] are certainly a real threat to U.S. security and an increasing threat to U.S. security,” said Rice University Baker Institute Fellow Joan Neuhaus Schaan.

The route from Somalia to Texas is shorter than Americans would like to think. It goes through Mexico. Two weeks ago, a federal indictment was filed in San Antonio against a Somali citizen. It alleges Ahmed Muhammed Dhakane led a “large-scale smuggling enterprise,” moving east Africans into the U.S., including members of a terrorist group called AIAI.

“It was hundreds of individuals,” Neuhaus Schaan said, in referrence to the indictment.

The current indictment has three counts for making false statements in regard to immigration for allegedly lying about his ties to terrorist groups.

Why would Al Shabaab come to the U.S?

“Either to recruit provide more funding or serve as operatives or sleepers for some future activity,” Neuhaus Schaan said.

If authorities are right, Mohamed Ali is hardly alone and a terror network is following well-worn human smuggling routes into the Lone Star State.

“There would be a reasonable chance to have him [Mohamed Ali] coming through Houston,” Neuhaus Schaan said. “They [Al Shabaab] have been pretty busy in Texas.”

DID YOU SEE THE GOOD NEWS Don’t hold your breath waiting for the Obama yanking Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s 287(g)authority ? Don’t hold your breath waiting for the Obama administration to do anything in the near future about immigration reform, or yanking Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s 287(g) authority. That’s the message some local Latino leaders took away from a series of meetings held recently at Maricopa County Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox’s El Portal restaurant with a White House staffer by the name of Carlos Odio.

Odio was in Phoenix last week and met with about 70 to 80 activists, politicians, and business people, spread out in three back-to-back get-togethers at Wilcox’s eatery. Most of those I spoke to about the meetings did not wish to be identified. However, in general, attendees described the meetings as frustrating and depressing. Especially since Odio’s message was that any work on immigration reform would have to wait until after the administration tackled health care.

“Odio said they’re not going to start talking about immigration reform until this fall,” said one attendee, who wished to remain anonymous. “Which means nothing is going to happen until after next year, because next year is an election year. No one’s going to touch a hot button like immigration in an election year.”

Regarding Arpaio, Odio refused to make any commitment regarding revoking or suspending Arpaio’s 287(g) agreement with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Under the agreement, ICE has trained 160 of Arpaio’s deputies to enforce federal immigration law, and Arpaio has regularly used these deputies during his racial profiling sweeps in Maricopa County. When challenged on this issue, Odio stated that Arpaio was being investigated by the Department of Justice, and that he could not comment beyond that.

When one person shot back that such an investigation could take years, Odio reportedly said that the Obama administration did not want to do anything to jeopardize immigration reform. Regarding ICE’s 287(g) program, and enforcement efforts such as ICE’s Secure Communities program, these did not seem to be on the White House’s chopping block for the immediate future. Odio suggested, according to two attendees, that certain internal enforcement provisions would have to be kept in any immigration reform package as a sop to critics on the right.

How can you not be touched by an old black woman who hugs Obama with tears in her eyes?

An image of an old black woman or man – who has lived through the worst chapter in civil rights in this country, one who marched with King and endured beatings, dog attacks, firehouse, was spat upon, denied voting rights, education, and employment – embracing Obama at an event with tears streaming done her face, placing her gnarled hands with worn wrinkled black skin against his cheek as she gazes into his eyes. He is the person she could have never dreamed of being. He is the person her children could have never dreamed of being He is the person that she never though she would live long enough to see. At the end of her life, she knows this the last chance she will have to see the likes of Obama. He is the personification of the struggle of black people in America history. He is Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, Rosa Parks, Frederick Douglas, Harriet Tubman, Thurogood Marshall. He is the runaway slave who risks his life wondering through the swamp trying to find the Underground Railroad. He is the civil rights protester whose head was bloodied by a vicious county sheriff on the steps of the courthouse in an attempt to exercise his right to vote. He is the reincarnation of the man whose mangled and mutilated body swung from the branch of a giant oak tree in the backwoods of the Deep South. She looks up at Obama and see them all – and cries her last tears for them.
The question is clearly stated in bold print at the top. This writing doesnt offer any excuses for blacks and isnt accusing any whites of the present day of anything. It is simply citing history that some dont want to acknowledge or would rather not be reminded of. Yet it is the truth and does play a role in what makes America great.

Obama doesnt represent the govt giving blacks anything that they are not entitled to. In fact, he spoke of personal responsibility last night adn before the NAACP earlier this year.

The Civil Rights Movement was not about that black being victims and wanting something they were not entitled to. THey were demanding equality and rights – what they deserved as Americans who helped build this country and have fought in every war that it has had. If you were truly there, you would know that. I doubt that you were.
Julie Knows is a seething racist. There is nothing in the post about the government or whites owing blacks anything. Everything that blacks have gotten was earned anyway.

When I say the word “black”, I mean skin color and not the “black” that stands for the characteristics of the necromancer and his evil minions like Hillary Clinton.
I was actually talking about skin color since everybody is so fascinated by that. I actually don’t know what color skin the Necromancer has but I believe that Hillary has sold her soul to become President. So to answer the question of who has more soul that would be Barack Obama again.

Arizona poll: Arpaio more popular than Obama, stimulus not helping

Arizonans like Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio more than President Barack Obama and are not keen on the federal stimulus or creating a government-run health system, according a Rasmussen Reports poll.

The survey of 500 likely Arizona voters gave Obama a 46 percent approval rating compared to 57 percent for Arpaio.

Forty percent said the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is not good for the ailing economy, 32 percent said it is not making a difference and 24 percent said it is helping.

Sixty-five percent of those surveyed said securing the border is more important than figuring out what to do with illegal immigrants already in the U.S. One in 5 said legalizing undocumented immigrants is more important than border security.

The Rasmussen poll also found that 52 percent oppose creation of a government-run health system to run alongside private-sector plans, while 43 percent of Arizonans supported the idea.

Fifty-one percent would prefer to see federal action first on immigration and the border and then health care. Forty-five percent want health care addressed first.

Gov. Jan Brewer got a 48 percent approval rating in the poll while only 17 percent liked the job the Legislature was doing.

The poll backs Brewer’s push for a temporary sales tax hike to help solve the state’s budget woes. Fifty-seven percent supported a 1-cent sales tax hike if the money goes toward schools, 38 percent opposed it.

The poll was conducted July 21.

In this letter, sent to TV stations from Obama campaign general counsel Bob Bauer, the Obama campaign, once again, attempts to intimidate television station managers from airing a TV ad by the National Rifle Association.

Bauer argues, “Unlike federal candidates, independent political organizations do not have a ‘right to command the use of broadcast facilities.’ Moreover, you have a duty ‘to protect the public from false, misleading or deceptive advertising.’ We request that you immediately cease airing this advertising.”

The Obama campaign takes issue with an ad called “Hunter,” pointing out that claims in the ad were called “false” by Factcheck.org, and were given three Pinocchios by the Washington Post’s “Factchecker.”

In response, Cleta Mitchell, Counsel to the NRA, fired back in a letter to station managers that the fact checkers in this case are wrong.

Political speech is absolute. This is another attempt by Obama’s NKVD to deny Americans their 1st Amendment “free expression” rights. As you read down the page you will see other instances of intimidation by Obama’s NKVD. This is obviously a formal tactic of his campaign.

Just imagine what these people would do with the full force of the Department of Justice behind them.

Obama’s assault on free speech reminds me of how Islam deals with speech it does not like: “Behead Those Who Insult The Prophet.”

As an aside, the “lawyer letter” is on Obama Campaign stationary. Obama’s name in the letterhead is quite large. One can hardly read Biden’s name.

Day 79: Yet another Obama supporter goes on a shooting rampage. Why does Obama inspire hoplessness?

TEMECULA, Calif. – A gunman opened fire at a remote Korean Christian retreat center Tuesday night, leaving one person dead and at least three people injured, authorities said.

Authorities were first called to the rural area about 7 p.m. after receiving reports about a man wearing an “Obama Hope” Tshirt shooting his wife, California Highway Patrol spokesman Mario Lopez said. The shooter’s 1983 Honda accord was found one mile down the road, plastered with “Yes We Can” and “Obama/Biden 2008″ stickers.

But investigators were still trying to learn the circumstances of the shootings, and were hindered by a language barrier in trying to sort out the facts, Riverside County Sheriff’s spokesman Dennis Gutierrez said.

“We have some nuns that are very distraught,” he said.

Obama supporters call him Robin Hood, to me his acts make him more like King John, who only increased taxes on his subjects and lived a lavish life.

Him and other democrats across the nation have increased tax our state of IL is talking about a 150% business tax increase, our county already jumped sales tax by more than 30% (6.25% Till Last year now 10%)

To all,

I have read all of the emails from Law Enforcement & Military personnel about Barack Obama’s rudeness and what seems to be disgust for basically anyone in uniform. Well, it’s my turn to add to the list of emailers a nd here it is:

So members of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department, Michigan State Police, (me included) and other local agencies inside Calhoun County are working with Secret Service in the security of Mr. Obama. Mr. Obama’s bus arrives in Battle Creek and pulls into the stadium area. Before Mr. Obama exits the bus, he has the Secret Service get off and tell all Law Enforcement personnel in uniform that they now have to stand behind the bus so Mr. Obama is not seen with anyone in a Law Enforcement uniform before he gets off or while in the public view. So, everyone from Michigan State Police, Sheriff’s Deptments and other agencies look at each other for a brief second, go and stand behind the bus out of sight so Mr. Obama does not have to see, or been seen with, what to him is ‘undesirables’ since he refuses to be seen, or even acknowledge Military or Law Enforcement personnel in uniform. And he wants to be our commander-in-chief!

At a time of war and terrorism in our w orld, this presidental candidate who is being protected by various branches of the military & law enforcement at the tax payers expense, refuses to acknowledge, be seen with, have in his photographed background, any type of Military or Law Enforcement in uniform.

But this is not in the headlines or in the news or on TV. The TV news doesn’t show us marching around behind the bus. In the future, look and see if you can see a single soldier or police officer in uniform when you see Obama. Why? I wonder what the story or media frenzy would be if it was Muslims, blacks, whites, Jews, or any other race, gender, religon, and/or occupation, that Mr. Obama refused to be seen with or have around him.

Why would I make this up? Everyone in Law Enforcement knows we have traditionally had more funding under Democrats.

Just food for thought leading hmm, up to November 4th.
