I finished the last relay race and it says go talk to sheriff at the courhouse and he’ll tell you to teach more tircks to mater but he isnt there and i looked in radiator springs, ornament vallley, and tailfin pass but he isnt there

He’s been in the news alot lately rejecting the demands of federal bureaucrats, enforcing the law and protecting the citizens who elected him. His approval has never been higher. Is this the kind of self-made no-nonsense leader that’s needed in today’s political environmnent, or should we keep electing politicians who say what’s needed to get elected?

Question about Basic Combat Training (National Guard)?

I recently have been watching a TV show called “The Academy” its about the training system for sheriffs for L.A. county. The training academy is a traditional military style. In the show each “class” has a designated “class officer”. I was wondering if in Basic Combat Training is there anything like this, and do they take volunteers to do it or do they “volunteer” people to do it? Thank you!

Going backacking in Inyo Nat’l Forest July 12th and trying to get the expected temperatures so I’ll know how to pack. Closest I could get was Mammoth Lakes, which is a bit lower in elevation.
Do you research your local elections as much as the national ones?

Do you know what the folks you’re putting on the school board believe? Or the sheriff? Or the local judges? All these people will have influence over how the community is run, but do we as a country research them carefully?

I plan on just escaping to the Wilderness in early June. I’m in the process of reserving a permit with the Inyo National Forest but can’t decide which area to enter! Any suggestions?
I would prefer an area with heavy forests and lakes. I want to go fishing, just camp out and think for a week or so.
Should I bring a firearm? (I have a Ruger .22 rifle)

“A new program inside downtown San Diego’s Central Jail targets immigrants arrested for crimes. The program is called the Criminal Alien Program.
Agents with Immigration and Customs Enforcement, a division of the Department of Homeland Security, screen people who have been arrested to identify anyone foreign born. Illegal immigrants can be deported, along with legal residents or visa holders who commit a serious crime.
Last month alone, the program identified 381 deportable immigrants locked up for a broad range of crimes.
“Whether it be drunk in public, driving under the influence, to more severe crimes, burglary or armed robbery,” said Lt. Mark Hays of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The immigration department was already screening in state and federal prisons, and in the courts.”
“By next year, the number of agents working in the program will double.
Magee, who supervises the program in San Diego, was just promoted and is moving to Washington, D.C. to launch the Criminal Alien Program in jails nationwide.
In the last 11 months alone, more than 29,000 people have been deported from San Diego County.
According to ICE, of those deported, more than 8,700 people were criminals.”
OK, if they are turning to deport the 302,000 illegals Homeland Security estimates will be in our jails and state prisons this year as well as those typically deported, that would be significant.

I’ve unlocked and beaten all races and mini games in ‘Story Mode’; now my hint says to talk to Sheriff at the Courthouse in Radiator Springs, but I don’t know how to. Its driving me nuts! =]

Marijuana cultivation on public land in the U.S. is a multibillion-dollar business, run by Mexican drug cartels and guarded by heavily armed members of U.S.-based street gangs and Mexican nationals, says the head of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP).
“Our national treasures are now ground zero for international and domestic drug cultivation and trafficking,” said drug czar John P. Walters. “We must push back against the invasion of foreign drug-trafficking organizations through increased law-enforcement collaboration, enhanced intelligence and expanded investigations to reclaim our public lands.”
Mr. Walters made his comments last week during Operation Alesia, a multiagency marijuana-eradication initiative in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest, the largest national forest in California.
Coordinated by the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office with the support of the California National Guard, the weeklong operation involved 17 federal, state and local law-enforcement agencies.
“America’s public lands are under attack,” Mr. Walters said. “Instead of being appreciated as national treasures, they are being exploited and destroyed by foreign drug-trafficking organizations and heavily armed Mexican marijuana cartels.”
ONDCP spokesman Stephen E. Schatz said violent Mexican drug cartels construct, operate and manage 80 percent to 90 percent of all U.S.-based marijuana plantations — most of which are in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Kentucky, Oregon, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia.
Mr. Schatz said those hired to tend and guard them do so with high-tech equipment and state-of-the-art weapons
