There is a truck that is constantly outside of my house. A month ago my purse was robbed out of my car at the gym while I was working out and they stole 2500 dollars off of atm/credit cards (it was reinbursed by the bank, thank god) I feel like they are staking my house. The other problem is my ex husband.. I went through “abuse” and he was a officer. He was sentenced to jail and took a plea bargain after 8 months to get out… to make a long story short he lost his career and is not able to carry a gun. I have a restraining order against him but feel as if he is watching me sometimes. I am always paranoid because of both situations and cannot contact the police (as I work with the sheriffs dept as a nurse as well) for every little thing. I have noticed the same truck multiple times outside of my house and finally got the plate number, is there anyway I can locate the name of the driver by the plate online? Otherwise I might just try calling the local station. Thank you

What should I suggest my student look for when looking for a law enforcement agency to work for?
trying to help a student narrow the field and give them the best advice on how to become a law enforcement officer, they do not know the things they should look for when picking a department and how do i explain the differences/advantages between city police, sheriff, corrections, state police…etc.
What POST standards police academy is more simple physical agility test. look below for decription.?
In california that make you at the police academy drag a 160 pond dummy 20 yards, run 1.5 miles,push up and sit ups, climb a fence. what state is more simple where in the physical agility they don’t make you drag a dummy or climb a fence and make you run less miles but make you do situps and push ups and most of time time at the police academy you are mostly indoors and learning how to become a police officer or deputy sheriff
Why does the Police Dept & local County Sheriffs dept look the other way, when their officers committ crimes?
Example: A Police officer gets stopped for drinking & driving, he always gets a lesser penalty if any at all. Why do we allow judges to dismiss or plea bargain these cases when they should be held accountable like anyone else breaking the same law?
Where to look up past announcements of foreclosure sales (sheriff sales)?
A friends holiday home got foreclosed and sold at a sheriff sale. As she has a strong emotional attachment to the place due to some family reasons she would like to check that the required public announcements were posted. She didn’t get really realize what was going on due to moving and dealing with other stress factors – which she admits was her fault.
Nevertheless I promised to help with searching into the issue, but am having problems locating foreclosure announcements for which the property already was sold. The sale was beginning of April and the state was Michigan. Anybody has a good suggestion where to look or how to check?
I know it probably isn’t going to change anything, but might calm my friend down.
