If a jury makes a decision based on the evidence presented by the district attorney as opposed to fact, what is the proper procedure to set aside or vacate the decision of the jury and a subsequent sentence? Appeal? Writ of error? What?

Thanks to the 10th Admendant to the US Contitution, all states are different. In what states does this hold true that the sheriff can ONLY be arrested by the county coroner (provided he is in his own jurisdiction) ? And in what states can the sheriff be arrested by any police offcer? And where can this be documented?
Documentation; ie…. Article, section, sub-section, paragraph of State Constitution. I am most concerned with Pennsylvania but other State Constitutions will help also.

omg! the biter was 20 to 30 years younger, appeared athletic, was looking for a confrontation when he crossed the street, elected to get in the face of an old man like a typical wienie, pulled him out into the street, yelling and screaming, and you’re going to give him a pass for permanently maiming the old guy who rightfully felt threatened and rightfully felt the need to defend himself or, by some accounts, only tried to get away – like a man, not a 2yo. plus, after permanently maiming a 65yo, he simply walks off like it’s all good and has failed to come forth since.

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — An HIV-positive Fort Bragg soldier has been charged with knowingly spreading the virus to a teenage boy, WRAL.com reports.
Private First Class Johnny Lamar Dalton was charged last week by civilian authorities in Cumberland County with assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor assault and committing a crime against nature. He is being held under a $50,000 bond and faces the same charges from the military.
Dalton was arrested after the Fort Bragg military police and the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office conducted a five-month-long investigation, where they found that the 25-year-old was engaged in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old boy he found in a gay online chatroom and then met in person, the boy’s mother told WRAL.com.
