Need scanner Frequincies for Lee county FL and City police departments.?

Can any one give me a site or the actual frequencies for Lee county FL. I would like lee county sheriff department, fort Myers pd, cape coral pd, Fire departments. Any site other than Radioreference.com I have looked on that website, No luck. Thanks NOTE: police departments are in FL as well as fire department. Any extra frequencies are welcome.

I am an 18 year old that is going to graduate in one more month and I was interested in making my career to be in Law Enforcement. But as far as I know Houston PD require for a candidate to have 60 college hour credits, and for Harris County Sheriff you need 30 hours of college credits. However I wanted to know if those hours need to be in Police Science or can it be on any subject?

I had my self familiarized with the police employment process, but never looked at sheriffs department. Is there a difference? Here in L.A they only require you to be at the age of 19 1/2 during the time of application, and 20 when your training. Also on their website they have three different positions to apply DEPUTY SHERIFF TRAINEE, POST TRAINED, LATERAL ENTRY. What is the difference between the three. I’ ve been wanting to be a police officer for a long time, was waiting around to turn 21, but just found out sheriffs department only requires 20, and its county sheriff, so their department huge. In addition to my questions, I also want any useful information regarding all this. Thanks

Could somebody tell me the main differences between Local, state, county, and federal police departments? I know the basics like where they have jurisdiction, but some other stuff confuses me.
What does a county sheriffs department do that differs from local town police?
What do the state police do other than highway patrolling? If you have a state police detective…. whats he investigating? Wouldn’t all crimes fall under a town or city and then go to the towns detectives instead?
It’s hard to explain, but it seems like there are a lot of redundancies so I was wondering if somebody could clear them all up.

I applied to the Orange County Sheriffs department a day before I was deployed to Iraq one year ago. It was the first day of the employment process. On the sheet of paper they give you before you take the test, I put down that I sold drugs for about a week over 5 years ago. As a result they denied me. My question is will this come up if I apply at other departments?
Where do police and sheriff departments buy their equipment i.e. what company do they buy it from; tazers etc.?
