I had a fight with my boyfriend two weeks ago in Palm Springs after a sleepless night of gambling ( no drinking ) . He jumped out of the car and refused to get back in. I drove to the nearest gas station where I was crying in my car , I guess a little out of control, but in MY car. Four sheriffs came to me and forced me to go to the hospital in an ambulance claiming I must be under the influence of something. After about 16 hours the nurse at the hospital said I could leave. I think they were still waiting on a toxiology report to come back from the lab. I don’t know. I do take pain meds for my back some times so, I don’t know if I could be in any trouble. I had taken a cab from the hospital back to my car which was still at the gas station when the cab driver told me the nurse had phoned saying I needed to come back and sign my discharge papers. I told him to tell her I would come by tommorrow and do it. I never did. Could I have a warrant or am I maybe in troulbe? I don’t know.
How do I find out if I have a warrant in the county of riverside based on a bad incident in Palm Springs?

I doubt it.

This is not something you would be in trouble with the police over.
If anything, the nurse is probably in trouble because signing discharge papers is probably hospital policy.
I would not lose any sleep over this!

Not sure why this is under the real estate/renting category but.. LOL
I didn’t know there was gambling in Palm Springs! There sure wasn’t when I was there years ago..at any rate. I would imagine if you were taken to the hospital for tests/observation, and were not given a citation at the scene for DUI/DWI etc, AND your car was STILL at the gas station, it almost sounds as if they were hospitalizing you for your own safety. Sort of like when people are either suicidal or having mental issues. If they had ticketed you for under the influence they would have impounded your car. I highly doubt you are in legal trouble, as the cops would have been there waiting for your discharge to cart you off to booking!

I doubt you have a warrant, there isn’t a charge for stupidity.
