Yes, but it is unlikely that you will get much information quickly. Most police departments have a website where you may search for information such as charges, date of incarceration, bail (if set), mugshot picture, and time of arrest. I suggest you try that first.
Edit: Google the police department or sheriff’s office of whatever county and state he was arrested in.

It depends on where he got arrested, most pd’s and sheriff departments have an online website where you can check the jail population. If I knew his name and what state and county I could find it in a few minutes.

If he got arrested last night you’d be better off calling the jail, he’s probably in county by now.

Call the arresting agency.
If he was arrested by the police dept, call them; if the sheriff, then them. However, they’ll ask for the case number, or the name of the arresting officer/deputy.
You’ll get the best results, though, by calling the jail.

Call the local corrections facility and ask for “inmate status”.
