I am still battling a situation that happened back in Oct. of 2006.
The brother-in-law of a deputy sheriff stole my car, physically hurt me, kicked my door down and entered my home and ruined everything in my bedroon (computer, curtains, carpet, all my clothes, bedding, photos, printer, and much more).
I called the sheriffs dept. several times the last call I made I was crying frantically and told the deputy who answered (the brother in law of the one who did these crimes) that someone needs to come and make a report and to hurry! No one ever showed up. I
Thanks to yahoo questions/answers I have been given great advice on what to do since I was afraid to tell anyone locally (after being threatened and harassed by the sheriff’s deputy here) I habve taken the advice and have contacted the attorney general, the victim’s/witness program. I am still waiting for the investigation to go proceed.
I am afraid there will be no record of my calls for help!
I called the phone company today and was told unless the calls were long distance there’s no record of outgoing calls from my home phone. However, I beg to differ! I am a crime scenes & investigations, cold case files, city confidential FAN to say the least! I know calls made have been tracked and in some cases have been recorded. If anyone knows any truth to this I’d love to hear everything you know that can help me! thanks!
Can a sheriff’s duputy erase records of incoming calls to the station without anyone knowing the call existed?

Can you get the record from your phone company? It may prove that you actually called the station at that particular day.
